A lot of exciting things is happening on the Sunshine Coast this May.
1. TREX CROSS TRIATHLON SERIES 2-3 May 2015
The multi-day cross triathlon will be taking place over the first weekend in May. Held in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, events include cross country running and cycling through the beautiful scenery. The event provides the perfect excuse for families to take off on a camping adventure and cheer on the finalists as they make their way through the course to the finish line.
2. MALENY WOOD EXPO 2-3 May 2015
Admire the craft of wooden furniture at Maleny Wood Expo. Held in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the expo explores the use of sustainable wood furniture and the process by which wood becomes a home staple. The kids will be kept entertained with free activities and theatre shows while you tuck into gourmet food and shop for your next piece of signature furniture.
3. THE AUSTRALIAN BEE GEES SHOW 10 May 2015
Tap your feet to the Bee Gees greatest hits as performed by the Australian Bee Gees. Returning from a bunch of sell out shows around the world, the band will take the stage at The Events Centre for one night only. Don’t miss your chance to sing your heart out to ‘Stayin’ Alive’. 4. MOTHER’S DAY CLASSIC 10 May 2015
Help all the mums of the Sunshine Coast celebrate their special day by taking part in the annual Mother’s Day Classic. The event raises money for the fight against breast cancer. Put on those bright pink clothes, stretch your legs and walk or run your way around the 4 or 8km track. Bring your mum along with you or meet the family back at the finish line for free entertainment, food and lots of fun.
