Allow your eyes – and skin – to take in Australia’s premier body art event via the Australian Body Art Carnivale. This annual Eumundi gathering begins on May 11 and lasts until May 12, 2013 with the current theme as “The Best of Oz.”
As with previous Australian Body Art Carnivale, this year’s tournament is `A Festival of Colour’ that focuses on body art and all its forms. Watch human bodies take the form of canvases and witness artists showcase their creativity for a chance to win more than $14,000 in cash and prizes.
Exhibitions in vehicle art, photography and wearable art also abound as well as world-class street performers and music.
Located in Eumundi Amphitheatre, the Australian Body Art Carnivale attracts spectators and artists not just from Australia but from the world over. Plus, entrance to the event is free.
