Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Subaru Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival has been a feature event on the Australian Triathlon Calendar for over 22 years.
The Olympic distance triathlon provides a course that is known and loved for it’s ocean swim along with the electric buzz in the atmosphere as thousands of triathletes descend on this popular beach town.
There is something for the whole family including the ASICS Mooloolaba Twilight 5km run, 1k Ocean Swim, Superkidz Triathlon and the Special Tri. The event also features the Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup, where participants will see some of the biggest names in triathlon swimming the same waters, cycling the same roads, and pounding the same pavement as their own course.
Mooloolaba is one of Australia’s premier beachside resort locations, situated in South-East Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It is only a forty-five minute drive from Brisbane’s International Airport and just ten minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport, a major regional facility.
