Add a little extra excitement to the holiday season here on the Sunshine Coast. This December you can expect lots of festive spirit on the Sunshine Coast with a long list of Christmas events on the lineup. For families and couples there’s no better place to spend the holidays!
The annual lighting of the Hastings Street Christmas Tree will be held on November 25 from 5.30 pm, and will mark the official beginning of Christmas on the Sunshine Coast! This popular shopping destination will receive a stunning makeover to welcome the holiday season featuring lights, decorations, and a magical atmosphere to top it all off. Stop by for street entertainment, a huge choice of food, and a special treat for kids as Santa comes to visit.
Another great place to welcome Christmas is in Cooroy, the place of the “most beautiful Christmas tree in the region”! The lighting of the gigantic Cooroy Christmas tree will be on December 1, and will also offer lots of food, entertainment, and a man-made snow attraction!
Continue the festivities in Yandina with the Yandina Christmas Carols. Sing your favourite carols under the stars whilst enjoying lots of great entertainment, good food, and a special visit from Santa Claus. The Yandina Christmas Carols will take place on December 10 from 6 pm.
Don’t miss the Christmas Boat Parade in Mooloolaba on December 16, one of the biggest Christmas events on the Sunshine Coast. The return of this annual event will see Mooloolaba’s canals and waterways decorated with a procession of boats and floating Christmas lights, and it’s a sight to see! The parade will begin at 6.30 pm. Make sure to come early and find a good spot!
You can be near to all of these events with our Sunshine Coast family accommodation on Coolum Beach. For more information just visit https://app-apac.thebookingbutton.com/properties/endlesssummerdirect
